The second printed book in the seires to be published is that covering the Hanoverian and King's German Legion troops. The book contains a wealth of previously unpublished letters and reports written by officers and men who served in the campaign in the Allied army commanded by the Duke of Wellington, all of which have been taken from the original handwritten manuscripts and then meticulously translated into English. The various documents shed important new light on many of the most critical events in the campaign including those on the 15th June following receipt of the news that the French had crossed the border; details of the fighting during the latter stages of the the battle at Les Quatre Bras and comprehensive descriptions of the part played by the Hanoverian and King's German Legion troops on the 18th June at Waterloo. With full colour contour maps and illustrations by Gerry Embleton, the book is an essential addition to every Waterloo and Napoleonic collection.
