Material that will be available on the Waterloo campaign
In the coming months a host of new and exciting items will be published by 1815 Limited, including books containing translated contemporary letters and accounts, files within the on-line archive with unpublished material written by a number of officers and men who were present, and newly commissioned artwork depicting the extraordinary events.

| Numerous contemporary paintings and illustrations of the Allied troops which formed the army of occupation were made by French artists following the conclusion of the Waterloo campagn. Many of these have been traced and will be made available within the on-line archive to those interested in the uniforms of the period. | ||||||

| A significant part of the study has been the examination of the uniforms, weapons and equipment of each of the contingents in the Waterloo campaign. 1815 Limited has been fortunate to commission Gerry Embleton, who will be illustrating the new series of books being published and numerous items from within the on-line archive. | ||||||

| The author of the book: The Battle of Quatre Bras, Mike Robinson, has been undertaking research in the various British archives for 1815 Limited, and the results have been extraordinary. In January and February an array of previously unpublished contemporary letters and reports will be available within the on-line archive. | ||||||

Brunswick Correspondence | |||||
| In addition to the material found in the various German archives, access to two very important private collections has led to the discovery of a large number of previously unpublished letters and reports on the Brunswick corps and the role of the troops. Several of these items will be available within the on-line archive in February 2010. | ||||||

| The collation of manuscript material for the first book on the Hanoverian contingent has resulted in a significant number of items on this important part of the Allied army becoming available. | As with each of the German contingents within the Allied army, the material found in the various archives on the Nassau troops has proven to be extraodrinary. But the discovery of a substantial private collection of material on these oft forgotten men will ensure the publication of a considerable number of new items in early 2010. | ||||||

| The wealth of material which has been amassed for the first book on the Netherlands troops will be available from within the on-line archive in February. In addition to the letters and reports, a selection of illustrations by Gerry Embleton will provide invaluable information on all aspects of the Dutch and Belgian contingents. | ||||||

Although the vast majority of the manuscript material on the French army will be published during the ealry part of 2011, several important items will be available in January and February, including a number of translated letters from Comte Vandamme, and the entire parade states for the 2nd and 3rd Army Corps, dated the 10th June 1815. |
