This highly detailed account describes the involvement the Münden Landwehr Battalion took in the campaign, with details of the fighting at Les Quatre Bras on the 16th June 1815: 'The French staged several major attacks along the road from Charleroi to Brussels. In one of these the French light cavalry broke through the Brunswick cavalry, but pursued too vigorously and suffered heavy losses from the infantry established at Quatre Bras. The cavalry then fled in all directions, with one group of around 30 men coming from Quatre Bras to Baraque, before being chased away just behind the Münden and Osterode Battalions. The fire from part of the Münden Landwehr Battalion caused the loss of several men and  their horses from this troop. However, thanks to the favourable terrain, most of them escaped. They were members of the 6e Chasseurs  Regiment.' It should be noted that the entire of this file are available from within the new on-line archive.
