The publication of these new titles will add significantly to the understanding of the contribution made by the two contingents during the campaign, and will clarify various acquisations which have been levied  in numerous English accounts. The titles incorporate copies of translated letters and reports which provide a fascinating insight into the difficulties both the Hanoverian and Netherlands  contingents  overcame to play a crucial part in the defeat of the French. These titles will be followed in the summer by two volumes on the British. The first tells the epic story of the struggle at Hougoumont through the actions and words of the officers and men of the 3rd Regiment of Foot Guards, which will be enhanced by the release of the second volume which provides a host of new information on the uniforms, weapons and equipment of the 2nd Battalion. With colour maps and  full colour illustrations, the new series is an essential addition to every Napoleonic collection.
